Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Smithfield has always been more than just a place to live for me. It’s where my husband and I chose to build our forever home and raise our family more than twenty years ago. It’s a community where I have deep roots and a strong connection to the people and places that make our town so special.
Over the last decade, I have had the distinct honor of serving on the Smithfield Town Council for five terms, including two terms as Council President. During that time, I visited thousands of homes, knocking on doors after work and on weekends. I learned that real leadership isn’t about party politics; it’s about listening to neighbors, sharing hopes and ideas, and finding solutions together.
As a working mom, public servant, and Smithfield small business owner, I know firsthand that individuals and families in Smithfield, Glocester, and across our state, deserve the very best from our state leaders. Today, I’m excited to share that I am taking the next step in my service to our community and running for RI State Representative.
Transitioning from Town Hall to the State House will come naturally to me, as I have spent the last thirteen years working in state government. Now, more than ever, our state needs a strong and seasoned voice—someone who knows how to create policy and has the experience, roots, and relationships statewide to deliver results in the General Assembly. My campaign is built on issues that matter to all of us, and my public service will continue to focus on compassion, honesty, and hard work – not divisive politics.
Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, Independent; own or rent your home; are married or single; working or retired; I will represent and work hard on behalf of everyone. I respectfully ask for your support and confidence in me, to honorably serve and represent District 53 and all of Rhode Island.
