Suzy is launching a monthly Coffee & Conversation Series to give Smithfield and Glocester residents a relaxed, accessible way to connect, share ideas, and discuss community issues.
The series kicks off on Sunday, April 12 at 12:00 p.m. at The Starry Night Café located at 115 Pleasantview Ave. in Smithfield and will continue on the second Sunday of each month at rotating locations throughout the district.
Suzy invites the public for a complimentary cup of coffee or tea, while having conversation about important issues, and supporting our amazing locally owned coffee shops.
Each month will feature a focused topic, beginning with public education, while still encouraging attendees to bring any questions, concerns, or ideas of their own.
Alba, a mother, small business owner, and longtime community leader, said the series reflects her commitment to open dialogue. “People deserve the chance to talk directly with the individuals who want to represent them, ” Alba said. “These Sunday conversations are about listening, connecting, and working together on the issues that matter most to our community.”
The Coffee & Conversation Series is free and open to all. Future dates, locations, and monthly topics will be posted here.
